Unit:   20th TASS Dates Served:   Sept 1967-May 1068 (Short tour due to previous TDYs when I was stationed with GEEIA Sq. out of Clark 1964-1966) Location:   DaNang AB, RVN Comments:   Ground Radio Maintenance. Shop was at I Corps HQ then moved onto the base. Quartered at the DaNang Hotel when I first arrived. Moved on base after the Tet Offensive.

Unit:   366 Security Police Sq. Dates Served:   4/1972 Location:   Da Nang/ Ty Me/CRB Comments:   Came to Da Nang after closing Cam Rahn Bay. Spent a month or so at Da Nang and got sent to a detachment north of Hue . It was a Coast Guard Loran station .

I left the morning after the attack on 7-15-67. Hope to hear from anyone who remembers that time period. I lived in camp danang in tents for a long time till they built barracks. Long live the snake pit. I also have pictures if anyone needs some.
