inspecting the damage after the July 5th 1971 rocket attack on gunfighter
village. We were in the barracks 2 rows over when it happened.

This fine picture was taken by my good friend George Mainardy. George was
later killed on the flightline in 1972 during a rocket attack. This picture
was later given to me along with all of his pictures he took at Danang by
