I was not with the 366th but my father was. MSgt Edwin L. McPherson Sr. I'm researching just how he was attached and want to get him listed here. I know he was there for either 2 or 3 tours and the years of 70, 71, 72 (possibly part of 69) He worked with the personal survival equipment section and i believe he managed the officer's club for some time. Anyone remembering dad let me know. I was about 5 miles from him for 15 months with the 282nd Asault Helicopter Company, Blackcats/Alleycats at Marble Mountain. I was a doorgunner on the hueys.

I remember when they loaded us up in the cattle car for an "attack exercise". We were suppose to defend the bomb dump. Some clever soul pulled the disconnect lever on the 5th wheel and the truck pulled away without the trailer. This happened on at least two occasions. Who can forget the skeeter flick. Lord help the projectionist if the film broke. His last name was Lite a.k.a. "Flash". Drank a lot of beer at the Green Box. I still work for the AF as a civilian. Helping to build the next generation fighter the F/A-22.
