To All,
This is where some of us were working or
would have been working on April 27,1969. The picture is by Don Mayo
taken at the base of Freedom Hill. The explosions lasted for over 17 hours. A
few of us left Da Nang the day before for Kunsan.
This is a coin that the AMMO troops carry
now. The letters at the bottom of the coin "I.Y.A.A.Y.A.S" is a
saying that I think I remember. "If you ain't Ammo, you ain't
shit!" You need to have your coin with you at all times because it could
cost you a round of drinks at the bar.
